Mike's parents came out for two weeks. We had a lot of fun and they were very helpful since I had my wrist surgery the day they came into town.

We took a mini camping trip up to Buena Vista while Mike's parents were out here. The campground owners had bought this old school firetruck, took out the hoses and put bench seats in, then takes everyone for rides. The kids were so excited!

First camping trip of the year to Buena Vista with the new camper. It rained all day Friday when we got there and then it snowed Saturday morning till about 8am. Then cloudy skies. This park was right across from us. And thank goodness too cuz being locked in a 30ft camper with 3 children because of crappy weather is not our ideal camping trip. We had a great time tho!!

The girls got into the barrette container (hair pretties) and put every single one in their hair.

After gymnastics

Mike and I took a little road trip to Salida, Buena Vista, Monarch, Crested Butte. We had so much fun! (Thank you Nana and Poppie for watching the kiddos!) These are picks of our snowmobiling trip. Which was just so awesome!

Kara's bowling birthday party. She shares a birthday with her good friend Maya. So we had around 25 kids all bowling:) It was fun.

There is a Buffalo Scenic Stop off of I-70 about 5 miles from our house. There were some deer hanging out with the buffalo. Apparently they thought they would fit it.

Kara at a taekwondo birthday party. If you can't tell she's the one on the far left. It was so cute seeing her yell and kick her arms and legs. She loved it!

It's rather challenging getting all 5 to look at the camera and smile at the same time. I give mega props and kudos to professional photographers.

Our new toy!!

This is at another birthday party. They have chickens and Ian so desparately wanted to pick one up and hold it. He chased them for probably about 10 minutes before finally giving up. So then he started chasing a very friendly dog who loved to play ball. Ian spent the rest of the party (probably a good 30-45 minutes) playing ball with this dog. Despite how cute it was, no we will not be getting a dog until Ian (and the girls) are old enough to scoop poop:)

We took Mike's parents out for their anniversary and secretly told them it was their anniversary. So when we ordered dessert - this is what they brought them. Never underestimate the sneekiness.
