So, this time two years ago I was in labor with Ian. My first attempt at going all natural. I was determined to do it this way because I knew I could do it. Women have been having children naturally for centuries - I felt it was time for me to join the troops; so what if it took me until my third child:) I was in labor for 3 1/2 hours. I labored for an hour in the tub and they told me I should start getting out of the tub and to the bed. 8 minutes later, my healthy, handsome, bouncing baby boy was born!!
The birth couldn't have been more perfect! Mike "caught" him and announced the sex of the baby since we didn't find out. We wrote his name on the dry erase board and when my parents and Mike's parents walked in they asked what sex the baby was and we told them to look at the board and the mom's errupted into tears and laughter and thank goodness you finally got a boy!!
Today, I'm feeling kinda sad because we are done having children and I will miss going through the whole pregnancy/birthing experience again. But I feel that our family is complete. We are blessed with three healthy children!
Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweet boy - Ian!!!

Mom's shout-out
What a great weekend! I spent the day with my 2 year old nephew - Aiden on Friday. Couple of parties on Saturday with the kids. On Mother's Day we had breakfast with the family, then a quiet lunch, then an afternoon of cooking and baking, then an evening with the family, then a quiet cocktail on the deck with my man. We were blessed with such a beautiful sun shiny day.
I am grateful for all the mom's in my life. I wouldn't (and couldn't) be the mom I am today without all those mom's supporting me - friends and family (whether you know it or not). The countless playdates, many phone calls - crying, screaming, laughing, the last minute babysitting phone calls or texts. I am extremely thankful for my mom - she is a rockstar. And my mother-in-law (she's a rockstar too) - without her I wouldn't have my husband and without him, I wouldn't be a mom. All mom's deserve a shout-out today. Thanks for everything you do!!!!
We were blessed with another healthy Wisniewski nephew - Arbor Edward. The birth of another baby brings back nostalgic memories of the birth of my three little ones. The sleepless nights, the countless dirty diapers, the unforgetable bond while nursing. All of it so incredible, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
